Acceptable Usage Policy

The following Acceptable Usage Policy applies to all Monni users and guilds, and forms part of the Terms of Service. Violations of our rules will result in your access to the bot being temporarily or permanently restricted.

• You may not maliciously exploit or harm our service. This includes spamming commands with the intent of slowing down the bot, exploiting vulnerabilities to cause harm to the bot or any guild using it.
• Attempting to use our service for any type of scams or fraud will lead to your account being permanently banned and you forfeit your rights to refunds of our products.
• Using Monni to cause unwanted damage to guilds. This includes exploiting an oversight in a command which allows unauthorized actions to be done like spamming channels or sending messages in channels you shouldn’t be able to.

In case you have been permanently banned you can appeal your ban at [email protected]. Please provide evidence of the ban being falsely given out or proper reasoning why you should be unbanned. We do not accept appeals that consist only of “I promise I won’t do it again.” Bans and appeals are considered on a case-by-case basis, and we reserve the right not to punish a person at our discretion.

Bug reporting and hunting

We take the security of user data and the safety of guilds seriously, so we allow people to look for vulnerabilities in the bot as long as proper care is taken and the issues are reported to us. The list below explains what you are allowed to do while hunting for bugs. If you follow it, we will not take action against you for breaking the acceptable usage policy. This also includes legal action.

• You are allowed to try to break or find exploitable commands or issues if the exploit doesn’t cause harm to the bot like crashes or slowdowns, doesn’t leak information of other users and if the testing is done in a private guild.
• If you find a vulnerability or issue please report it privately to .iraas (765119856403021864) on discord or to [email protected]. Don’t disclose the vulnerability to outside parties before it has been fixed. You aren’t allowed to abuse the vulnerabilities any further than is necessary to prove they exist, and the minimum amount of data should be exposed. Preferably your own data.
• If you suspect a vulnerability could cause stability issues for the bot or leak a large amount of user data, get approval from .iraas (765119856403021864) in the support server before testing it.

We may, at our discretion, reward you with free premium time or monetary compensation for any issues you report.
