Information We Collect

Information You Provide Us

Some information we store is provided by you

Payment information: There are a few ways in which you may provide us this information. One being purchasing a product from us or earning affiliate, we save the information to handle payments.
Contact information: During purchases and support cases requiring proof of completion. We save the contact information you provided to fulfill our legal obligations.
Third party account details: When verifying with Monni we store the connection between your account and third party account. We also store the identifier and public information of your third party accounts.
Any text you provide us: Some of our features, like reminders, require us to store text you provide us. (Not all text we store contains personal information)

Information We Collect From Third Party Sources

Discord id: We store discord id to identify you and store information related to you. We get the Discord id from Discord.

Information We Collect Automatically

Aggregated Analytics: We collect aggregated analytics that represent data trends across many users or guilds. This aggregated data is fully anonymized, meaning it cannot be traced back to any individual user. Because of this, fully anonymized aggregated analytics are outside the scope of this privacy policy. However, if any aggregated analytics are later determined to be insufficiently anonymized, they will fall under the terms of this policy.
User or Guild Specific Analytics: For analytics tied to a specific user or guild, we apply pseudonymization. This is achieved by generating a unique, random identifier for analytical purposes. This random ID cannot be linked to an individual user or guild without accessing the secure mapping stored in our database.

Identity: Information we use to identify you in our database, such as discord id.
Extended identity: Extended identity information. Includes information like address, country.
Payment details: Payment method information
Contact details: Details such as email or phone number.
Technical: Information about errors and debug information, which may contain personal information.
Statistics: Statistical information of how our service is used.
pseudo identity: Identity information which cannot be connected back to specific user without secure mapping stored in database.

How We Share Information

We share information with the following parties

Third party vendors: We may share information with third party vendors for them to be able to provide us their services.
- Microsoft clarity: Statistics collection
- Cloudflare: DNS management, statistics, and infrastructure protection
- Stripe: Taking payment
- Discord: Acting as processors or joint controllers based in the United States for the purposes of acting as an interface to our product.
Discord guilds: We provide information to discord guilds where you are in to be able to provide our services and obligations to them.
Legal requirements: We may share your data if there is a legal obligation we need to provide it to.
Business transfers: In connection with any merger, sale of company assets, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company, or in the unlikely event that Monni technologies ltd goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would likely be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. If any of these events were to happen, this Privacy Policy would continue to apply to your information, and the party receiving your information may continue to use your information, but only in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Aggregated or de-identified information: We may share information that has been aggregated or de-identified so that it can no longer reasonably be used to identify you. For instance, we may publish aggregate statistics about the use of our services.
Published support requests: If you send us a request for assistance (for example, via a support email or one of our other feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish that request to clarify or respond to your request, or to help us support other users.

Information You Choose To Share

Information you choose to share with third parties, such as guilds, or publicly, will be, as you may expect, shared according to your wishes. This is mainly relevant in cases where you’re sharing your third party accounts with guilds.

Data Access

We store data encrypted and password protected. Only Monni staff has access to the databases. We employ data access limitations for our staff so they can access only data necessary to complete their tasks.

Data Retention

We store data for as long as we have a lawful basis for keeping it. This means there isn’t a fixed deletion date. Once we detect you no longer are using our services, we will delete/anonymize your data within 30 days for guilds and 3 months for users. During this period, if the data hasn’t been removed, you can request it to not be removed. In cases where we have a legal obligation, contractual obligation, or legitimate interest to keep your data, we will keep it past the deletion date and delete/anonymize it once no reason to keep it exists.

Your Rights

Under GDPR, if you are an EU citizen, you have the right to

Object to our use and processing of your personal data
Request that we limit our use and processing of your personal data
Request portability of your personal data

We extend these rights to any person using our service. If you live in a country with different, more extensive rights, we will respect them to the best of our ability. We may not be able to honor them if they go against local laws or risk the rights of other people.

If you are an EU citizen, you also have the right to make a complaint to a government supervisory authority.

Children Under The Age Of 13

Our service isn’t intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information about children under the age of 13. If you are under 13, do not use our service.

Opting Out

We provide means of opting out of consent based data collection. For other types of data collection, we cannot provide a way to opt out without failing to complete our contractual obligations with third parties. If you wish not to have this data collected, please do not use our services or join Discord servers using our services.
